There are also other locations worth visiting in the Kilpisjärvi area. In addition to the aforementioned trips we also offer tailored tours to offer different levels of challenge according to the wishes of the customers. We also offer fatbike rental. Some trips are available during night for an extra fee.

Visiting the Arctic Ocean by minibus
Kilpisjärvi is only fifty kilometers from the Arctic Ocean. On the way to the village of Skibotn we descend about half a kilometer from Kilpisjärvi tundra to the evergreen sea level of Storfjord surrounded by the snow covered Lyngen Alps and glaciers. By the fjord we stop to enjoy the arctic breeze and local snacks around a campfire. For stone and shellfish gatherers the fjord shore is a paradise. Do not forget a towel and swimwear for the opportunity to take a chilly dip into the Arctic Ocean.

The prices include coffee or tea, some snacks and guides, insurance and VAT. The guides will take photographs which are available to the customers free of charge. The prices include pick up from accommodation within the Kilpisjärvi area. The guides speak Finnish and English.
If you would like to have pick up and drop off to the tours from your resort, please inform the resort name and ask for pick up while making booking. You can ask it in additional information section. Please note the pick up and drop off is made in the reception of resort in Kilpisjärvi village area and you have to order it.
All tours are arranged in accordance to weather conditions. The rates mentioned are for a minimum of three participants, for smaller numbers ask for an offer.
