Your local host will take you with a traditional river boat along Lemmenjoki river to Ravadas Falls. Admire the famous waterfall and surrounding nature of Lemmenjoki national park.

After the visit to Ravadas Falls you will head deeper to Lemmenjoki National Park by boat. Total distance to the final destination is about 20 km. It is just a 600 m walk to the gold claim from the Lemmenjoki river bank. Your host will show you the secrets of gold panning and everybody can try their skills in gold mining. Hear also many stories of Lappish gold history.

During the trip you will also hear traditional Sami joik singing and have camp lunch. After the trip you will visit your guide’s reindeer farm and their mother felt ateljee and learn a lot more about Sami culture.
