Chasing the northern lights
For observing the northern lights, Kilpisjärvi is the best location in Finland with its daily 70 % chance of the northern lights to appear. Geographically Kilpisjärvi´s location next to the Skandies mountain range is ideal for chasing Auroras. We chase the northern lights by automobile heading to the best direction depending on weather forecast. During the tour we will make breaks for photographing and to enjoy some snacks. The guide provides good tips for night time photography.

If you would like to have pick up and drop off to the tours from your resort, please inform the resort name and ask for pick up while making booking. You can ask it in additional information section. Please note the pick up and drop off is made in the reception of resort in Kilpisjärvi village area and you have to order it.
