Autumn "Ruska" Lapland 2025
Here is preliminary information about the upcoming Finland 2025: Autumn
Autumn "Ruska" is the time in Finland when the trees and plants are changing their summer green dress to beautiful red, yellow, purple, orange, pink, and brown colors.
Winter usually begins in mid-October in Lapland and during November in the rest of Finland, though not until December in the southwestern archipelago.
Hiking in Lapland:
Conquering Halti (1324 m.a.s.l.)
The tour starts at Kilpisjärvi, from where we will take a three-hour car ride to the lake Guolasjärvi in Norway. From the lake it is about seven kilometres of hiking to the highest peak located in Finland. The terrain is demanding and hiking partly strenuous. In Halti area snow flurries may occur even in the middle of the summer.

Minibus + Hiking 290 € per person
Duration: 14-14 h
The prices include coffee or tea, some snacks and guides, insurance and VAT. The guides will take photographs which are available to the customers free of charge. The prices include pick up from accommodation within the Kilpisjärvi area. The guides speak Finnish and English.
If you would like to have pick up and drop off to the tours from your resort, please inform the resort name and ask for pick up while making booking. You can ask it in additional information section. Please note the pick up and drop off is made in the reception of resort in Kilpisjärvi village area and you have to order it.
All tours are arranged in accordance to weather conditions. The rates mentioned are for a minimum of three participants, for smaller numbers ask for an offer. Available from 1.7.–31.8.
