As the late summer approaches, Inari's mighty Taimen and Muddusjärvi's Grayling embark on their spawning migration towards the headwaters of the Kielajoki, offering anglers the chance to battle with these magnificent fish, some weighing over 13 pounds.

The Kielajoki River is also home to a thriving Grayling population, known to reach sizes exceeding 4.5 pounds. Every summer, anglers are thrilled to land numerous Grayling specimens weighing over 2 pounds. Skilled fly fishers can also cast their lines for delicious Arctic Char in the river's pools, which can also grow to several pounds. And for an added adrenaline rush, keep an eye out for the mighty Pike, also known as the "Jänkäkoira," which can put your line to the test.
