Visiting the Arctic Ocean by minibus

Kilpisjärvi is only fifty kilo­me­tres from the Arctic Ocean. On the way to the village Skibotn we descend about half a kilometre from tundra to the evergreen sea level of Storfjord sur­round­ed by the snow-covered Lyngen Alps and glaciers. By the fjord we stop to enjoy the arctic breezes and local del­i­ca­cies around a campfire. Do not forget a towel and swimwear! You can take a re­fresh­ing dip into the Arctic Ocean. Includes guiding, thermal outfit, coffee / tea, pastry, and local del­i­ca­cies around a campfire.

If you would like to have pick up and drop off to the tours from your resort, please inform the resort name and ask for pick up while making booking. You can ask it in ad­di­tion­al in­for­ma­tion section. Please note the pick up and drop off is made in the reception of resort in Kilpisjärvi village area and you have to order it.

This trip requires a minimum of 4 par­tic­i­pants. If we have less than 4 par­tic­i­pants, the trip will have to be cancelled, and a full refund will be provided. The minimum age for this trip is 10 years.
