Tour of Kilpisjärvi

This is a great combination: learn to drive snowmobile while sightseeing the snowy fells and lakes. Before the tour starts your guide will instruct how to operate the snowmobile. The tour will introduce you to the sights around Kilpisjärvi and take you to a tundra lake surrounded by the mighty Saana and Jehkas fells. The tour will make stop at the yellow border cairn of Finland, Sweden and Norway.

Kilpissafarit is established by Hannu Rauhala, who was working as a border guard in Kilpisjärvi since 1973. Nowadays Kilpissafarit is run by his children, Johanna Rauhala-Siivonen and Jussi Rauhala. In addition to Hannu, Johanna, and Jussi, Kilpissafarit have several local guides, who know the area and the quickly changing conditions extremely well.
